Our Process

Start by submitting your project information through our online form. Upload any photos, sketches, or existing plans you have — the more detail you provide, the more accurate we can be.

We review your project and determine the appropriate service tier based on complexity and scope. You’ll receive a clear estimate outlining concept and consent stages, along with expected timelines.

No payment required at this stage

Once you’re ready to proceed, we issue a formal engagement for the concept stage.

Payment: 50% of Preliminary Drawing fee is required upfront before work begins

We then prepare your preliminary drawings to establish the layout and overall design direction.

You review the preliminary drawings and provide feedback. We refine the design to ensure it aligns with your requirements.

Included revisions are covered within the Preliminary Drawing stage fee. Additional revisions (if required) are charged separately.

Once the concept is approved, we move into detailed consent documentation.

Remaining 50% of Preliminary Drawing Fee payable and 50% of Consent Drawing fee is required prior to starting consent drawings

We prepare all drawings and supporting documents required for council submission.

You review the completed consent drawings before submission.

No additional payment required at this stage (unless variations apply)

This is your final check before lodging with council.

We compile and submit your application to the relevant council.

Remaining 50% of Consent Drawing Fee payable. Submission occurs once consent stage fees are fully paid

If council requests additional information, we manage and respond to RFIs.

Payment: RFI responses are charged separately as required

This ensures we can address requests efficiently without delays.

Once approved, your building consent is issued and your project is ready to proceed to construction.

No further fees unless additional services are requested
